There is an appealing background to the Cambodia gambling dens that lie just over the border from nearby Thailand, where casino wagering is not legal. Eight casinos are anchored in a relatively small location in the metropolis of Poipet in Cambodia. This group of Cambodia casinos is in a perfect location, a 3 to four hour trip from Bangkok and Macao, the 2 biggest gaming centers in Asia. Additionally, there is the Casino Tropicana, with 135 slot machine games and sixty six of the familiar table games, as well as a single table of Casino Stud Poker. Another one of the 8 casinos in Poipet, also a part of a motel, is the Princess Casino with 166 slot machines and 97 table games. The Star Vegas Casino is part of an all-around resort and hotel building that contains a number of luxuries aside from the gambling hall, which offers 10,000 square feet of 130 one armed bandits and 88 table games.
